Location Description
The suburb lies on the Gold Coast Broadwater with direct access to the Coomera River. The area is protected by South Stradbroke Island which lies off the coast. With access to two major water ways, several boat ramps and marinas have been built.
Two developments, built out into the local waters, are only accessible from Paradise Point. Sovereign Islands is a canal-style development at Northern point off Paradise Point, accessible by bridge and road named the Sovereign Mile. Ephraim Island is situated at the southern end, a secure Island development joined to Paradise Point by bridge via Falkinder Avenue.
Paradise Point Village shops on the esplanade include a post office, a news agent, medical clinic and food outlets and eateries. Jabiru Island in the west, remain undeveloped in Phil Hill Environmental Park.
Paradise Point is a fairly upmarket suburb, with many properties worth millions of dollars. A 2014 property survey revealed King Charles Drive as having the fourth highest number of million-dollar houses in Queensland.
Parklands
Paradise Point Parklands are the perfect location for a stroll, picnic, fun in the playground or to simply relax overlooking the water. The amazing views make this one of the most beautiful parks on the Gold Coast. The winding walkway through the Parklands provides a great way to start exploring the many features on offer.
The Parklands have recently been upgraded with new public amenities, barbecue facilities and picnic shelters. Pack a picnic, throw a snag on the barbie, or if you really want to relax, there are many coffee shops or fish and chip stores located right along the Esplanade.
The kids will be entertained for hours with the large playground area. The playground features and activities are very unique, and are sure to keep the kids enthralled. Climbing, slides, swings, all the traditional favourites, as well as many new activities and play spaces.
There are also open grassed areas, perfect for a game of cricket with the kids, or a kick of the footy. The park benches overlooking the beautiful Broadwater provide a majestic view, and a romantic spot to enjoy with your loved one.

There is a wide range of cafes & resuartants along The Esplanade to enjoy a bite to eat. More choices can be found in the heart of Surfers Paradise & larger Shopping Centres such as Harbour Town, Australia Fair, Pacific Fair & Robina Shopping Town.
The Gold Coast offers a fascinating and diverse array of markets to satisfy every need, from art and craft to fashion, fresh produce, gifts and knick knacks. A trip to any one of the Gold Coast’s markets can mean a shopping bag full of edible souvenirs, gourmet products and other delights.
Transport
Surfside Buses service the Gold Coast region. Information including timetables is available at www.surfside.com.au Other private bus contractors service the Canungra and Hinterland areas.
The Helensvale railway station is located on the Gold Coast line. Travel time for the 76 km journey to Brisbane is between 66 and 75 minutes. The journey south to Robina takes about seven minutes.
